Hello! I am so excited to be a School Counselor at CTMS. Prior to being a school counselor, I worked in the business world and as a math teacher. I have a Bachelor of Science from Dallas Baptist University, a Masters in Elementary Education from Texas A&M Commerce and a Masters in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M College Station. I am certified to teach math 4-8, ESL, and K-12 school counseling.

I married my high school sweetheart, Rusty Porter. We have been blessed with three sons and three grandsons. Every opportunity we get, we enjoy visiting with family and friends whether that is at our home or camping.

For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to make a positive difference in children's lives. I have volunteered with youth groups, mission trips, and marriage ministry. I am so grateful to be able to spend my days helping others recognize and develop their strengths and talent.

I am looking forward to working with the families of CTMS. I know this is going to be a wonderful year!
